Today marks 4 years since this project started, this One-Man Band. What started as a way to stay active as a musician today has become part of my life and honestly I don't expect it to end someday near.
Many groups and artists have gone through the Instrumentalism's list and have been covered; but I had missed a big one.
Well folks, from the great Elvis Presley; this is Instrumentalism's 100th Cover:
Watch it in HD here.
This song was written by Don McLean and appeared in his 1970 album: Tapestry. Later it was performed by Perry Como in his album And I Love You So (1973) and by Elvis Presley in his album Elvis Today (1975). This cover is based on the version performed by the japanese singer Yuzo Kayama, others performers of this song includes Harry Connick Jr., Sergio Franchi, Rick Astley, Shirley Bassey, Glen Campbell, Bobby Goldsboro, Tom T. Hall, Emmylou Harris, Engelbert Humperdink, Howard Keel, Johnny Mathis, Nana Mouskouri, Jim Nabors, Helen Reddy, Bobby Vinton among others, I hope you like it.
